Bobby Gilmer Moss (1932-2015)

Bobby Gilmer Moss was born and reared in the Cashion Crossroads Community about two miles south of Blacksburg ,gathered information about Cherokee County, South Carolina and the Southern Campaigns of the American Revolution most of his life.

He held a B.A. Degree from Wake Forest University, a B.D. Degree and M.Div Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky, an M.A. from the University of Virginia, and a Ph. D. Degree from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. In 1993, Limestone College conferred on him the honorary degree, Doctor of Humane Letters.
